just watched obama's acceptance speech live, or maybe with a bit of a satellite delay. relief. was glad i had a day out in the field to distract me until it was late enough to call the election.makes my day of dive tending seem insignificant. but it was a great day. sunny and warm, relatively speaking. glorious scenery, blue-striped glacier wall, pressure ridges, seals (some with pups), and another trip to the ice cave.
later note: now checking state ballot initiatives. have to say, though i'm excited about our new president i am very disappointed in california -- farm animals seem to rate higher than gay people.
