we got to zero degrees F today. max temp for year and for this summer was later this day at -17.5C/+0.5F, however it was pretty windy so didn't feel so warm.
coldest it got this season while i was at pole was -45.3C/-49.5F on nov 9, 2008.

btw, min temp for year (during winter when i was not here) was -73.3C/-99.9F on aug 17, 2008.
max for last summer (my first season at pole) was -21.5C/-6.7F on dec 20, 2007.
coldest it got last year while i was around was -48.4C/-55.1F on nov 7, 2007.
